Approval Process Improvements
The Broker level Approval Process has received several updates that make the process more clear and more streamlined. These updates allow to make the entire approvals process more easy to navigate and easier to make decisions.
First of all, we have improved the email template that the Broker receives when an approval request is triggered. The new email template looks like this:
Additionally, the link behind the “Click here to approve or reject this approval request.” redirects to the approval requests page with the specific approval request already filtered. This applies to the English version as well as the Lithuanian version of the email.
The table will show only that approval request, which needs to be Approved or Rejected.
For any approval request, the action is now only “Details”. Under the approval request details, the specifics of the approval request can be viewed, such as subscriptions details, price and more.
For NEW approval request, you also need to open up the details, review and then either Approve or Reject by using the corresponding buttons in the approval request details modal.
This is a measure to kind of force the users to actually review the details of the request, instead of blindly approving or accidentally rejecting.
When Brokers navigate to the Organization level and review the specific organization’s approval requests, they can also Approve or Reject from there.
However, when an Organization user views their list of NEW approval requests, they can conveniently Cancel them as well.
They can also cancel directly from the Subscriptions page (in case of Create Subscription action triggered the approval request).
This is to improve the navigation and user experience for the Organization user roles.
Microsoft Tenant Linking Improvements
The more you adapt the Cloudmore platform to your day-to-day tenant management process, the more you feel the need for bulk actions. We hear you!
We’ve improved the bulk actions you can perform with Microsoft Tenants now. Whereas before you could run the auto-linking process, which would link all your tenants on the background, we now give you much more control.
For Microsoft 365 CSP Direct tenant linking, you can select some or all your Microsoft Tenants you want to link.
For Azure tenant linking, you can also choose some or all tenants who have had at least one billing line in the most recent Microsoft invoice. If all the tenants who have Azure billing are already linked, you’ll see a confirmation message.
Linking the tenants will effectively add the corresponding service (Microsoft 365 CSP Direct or Microsoft Azure) to the Organization and import relevant subscription and billing data for each tenant.
Moreover, the “Microsoft tenants and linked organizations” table has also received some usability updates.
For instance, you can now sort the table to show unlinked tenants at the top, so you can link specific tenants individually as well.
You can also sort by Microsoft tenant to highlight the Organization without a corresponding Microsoft tenant.
The actions you can perform with each tenant (linked or unlinked) are also now much more descriptive.
Additionally, we’ve made the Microsoft Tenants export functionality more clear.
Branding Improvements
The branding functionality and white labelling features have received a lot of attention recently. Furthermore, we’ve added the Logo & Icon customization feature to the Theme page, so you can get a more holistic view of your branding and customization.
The page is now called “Theme and icons”, and so the old “Logo & icon” page has been removed.
Along with this update, the image upload click areas have been improved.
This entire page is now also available for Broker Global Admin roles.
Subscription management Improvements
The custom service subscriptions have also received an update. It is now possible to schedule the start date of a monthly custom service subscription.
Additional Tags for Renewal Email Templates
To further improve the subscription renewal process, we have added several new email tags that will be most useful for renewal emails. More specifically, we have added the following tags:
-
[SubscriptionCurrentUnitSalesPrice]
-
[SubscriptionNewUnitSalesPrice]
-
[SubscriptionNewQuantity]
Below is an example of how you could use these new email tags:
Logging Improvements
To give you the peace of mind that all the actions are logged timely and accurately on the platform, we’ve made a couple of improvements in the event logging area.
There is now a more accurate distinction for logging any changes made in the subscription renewal settings regarding if the subscription was a trial or a paid one.
Another logging improvement pertains to services that have already been removed from an Organization. We are now retaining these logs as well.
White-labelling improvements
At Cloudmore, we are committed to continuously enhancing our white-labeling capabilities, ensuring our customers can fully customize and present services under their own brand.
We have renamed several column headers in the organization-level Microsoft billing reports to align with our white-labeled billing platform. The reports no longer contain unintended branding references in the headings, which eliminates potential confusion for customers using the billing platform. New column names are:
-
CustomerNumber
-
UnitSalesPrice
-
pcToBCUnitSalesPrice
