Edit Software Subscriptions
We have added support to allow for easier management of Software Subscriptions.

You will be able to change friendly name, view subscription history and manage renewal settings.
-
Friendly names help you identify subscriptions easier and quicker, both via the GUI and in reports.
-
Renewal settings will allow users to schedule changes and manage renewals, making subscription management a smoother task.
-
Subscription history helps you overview events that has affected the subscription in question and will help create a view of the history.
This will bring management of Software Subscriptions close to what users are expecting from working with license based subscriptions and align usability across these services.
Export billing report to email
The new General Billing Report is here with yet another improvement.
It now features a 2nd tab “Export to email”, which offers the best way to send your billing Excel export to your email.
The filters are more clear and flexible, and the report allows to export up to 12 months of billing at a time.

Additionally, when you receive the email, we’ll repeat the filters you used for the export.
So, even if you have to come back to the report export email at a later date, you’ll see the overview of what filters were used to export this particular billing report. Just helps you avoid exporting another identical billing report, just in case.

Cloudmore Product Team really recommends to start using the new General Billing Report, as this is the primary billing report we will support long-term.
Improved approval request management
Organization management and governance is one of the cornerstones of Cloudmore self-service capabilities.
The approval process has been there for years already, but just recently we improved it quite a lot.
First of all, the approval request details give you much more specific and tailored information to help you understand what is being provisioned, changed or processed.
For example, when an organization user edits their subscription or changes some renewal settings, you, on the approval request, you can see exactly which changes they have requested.

This is consistent across different services as well.
Another key improvement is that you can leave a message to the Organization user about your decision.
For example, if you decide to Reject the approval request, you can leave you justification for that. You can do the same if you Approve the request.
Basically, the Approval Request details are divided into 3 sections:
-
Primary details - These set of fields are always the same. A unified format to give a quick understanding of the most important aspects of the Approval Request.
-
Requested changes - These set of fields that are going to change when this Approval Request is approved. This helps to focus on the changes.
-
Other details - The fields that will remain the same after the approval request is approved. These set of fields are just informational and for additional info.
The “Currently” will always show the existing (current) parameters of a subscription, so you’ll always have a clear comparison of what currently exists and what the custom is trying to change.
Additionally, we made it more clear which events trigger the approval requests, and which ones you can change.

Overall, this makes the approval process and approval requests much more structured and organized.

My account changes
Previously, there was 2 menu options: My Account and Settings.
This was confusing, as the “My Account” also had more settings under that menu.
We made this more convenient and easier by including the “Settings” in the My Account menu.

This way, everything is in one place, under one common parent menu.
Additionally, you can now see your role in the “My Account” menu.
